Is Colorful Vinyl legit?

Yes. Colorful Vinyl is an online record shop at colorfulvinyl.com that sells rare and limited colored vinyl. It has 59 published Loox reviews averaging 4.76 out of 5, and 57 of them come from verified purchases. The full answer walks through the evidence, including the orders that went wrong.

Where do these reviews come from?

From Loox, the review app on the colorfulvinyl.com store. Loox asks buyers for a review after an order and marks the ones tied to a verified purchase. This site publishes every active review in the Loox export from July 2, 2026.

Are negative reviews removed?

No. All 6 reviews under five stars are published, including both one-star reviews. One review was rejected in Loox before the export and is not shown. How reviews are sourced covers exactly what is and isn’t published.

What does “incentivized review” mean?

Loox flags reviews where the buyer was offered an incentive for leaving one. 13 reviews carry that flag, and each one is labeled on this site.

Why do some records cost more than their original retail price?

Limited pressings sell out and are not made again. After that, the price follows what collectors pay for that pressing in that condition today, not the sticker price on release day. Pricing and condition explains what goes into it.

Who publishes this site?

Colorful Vinyl does. This is not an independent review site. The reviews are written by buyers and appear exactly as they were submitted, with private details such as email addresses removed.

Wrong one received

Reply from Colorful Vinyl, Apr 7, 2024

We have provided a full refund.

I haven’t got it yet

Reply from Colorful Vinyl, May 18, 2024

This customer received a full refund.

The cover was bent up

It arrived a little damaged on the edge of the case and I really wanted to display it because it really is beautiful. I just wish the cardboard wasn’t damaged.

It delivered quicker than expected which was really nice! Although there was a tear in the part that holds the record, but other than that I would buy from here again!

To update my previous review, they reached out to me and make the transaction right. The album is beautiful and unique and I get so many compliments on it and I’ve only had it since Christmas.
